My good friend Pat passed away. When he was 17 he left Oklahoma, joined the Marine Corps and fought on Guadalcanal. He was one of the most wonderful and inspiring people I’ve ever known. He left a great impression on me. Kindred spirits.
Safe travels my friend. You will always be by my side. Until next time.

I like to feed the birds at the beach. Stout velvet fur, yellow candy eyes. You spit a cherry out the window and the car becomes a little Galapagos Island. The big birds don’t see the little pieces–the details that make the big difference.

I’m in SF now. Applying to jobs. Will be living near Ocean Beach for the month of August. If I do find a job, I’ll most likely be living here for a long time.
