Had a fantastic time photographing the owners of the new popuphood shops in Oldtown Oakland – they were all really kind and their stores beautiful additions to the area (and it just so happens I moved in right across the street, so I’m pretty stoked I have such cool neighbors).

An assignment a few weeks ago brought me across Jason who cuts hair at The Executive Barber Shop down in the Excelsior district of San Francisco. Jason is the real deal.
